Is it possible to learn a language on your own or only with a private tutor?

Yes!

Millions of Europeans have been learning a new language for decades now and thanks to the internet, many of them have written about their learning experience on forums such as Quora, Reddit, Duolingo. Of course, to have an aptitude for languages makes it all seem like a cakewalk!

You have to be realistic and true to yourself before you commit to learning a new language. No short cuts!

We conduct classes up to level B1 (and offer guidance to write the new B2, C1, and TestDaF exam) after which we highly recommend that you go to travel to a German-speaking country, if possible, or enroll in an intensive classroom program at Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan.

Everyone deserves the cultural immersion where the only language one speaks is the language one is learning. This puts one out of the comfort zone and makes for a better learner. Besides, you learn close to 80% of the grammar and sentence structures to get by during your A1-B1 journey. The higher levels are more about acquiring more vocab and advanced grammatical concepts such as passive writing, using it liberally in your writing, and speech. It's in your B2-C1 where you actually get to learn how the language flows, rather than how the sentences are formed, which is the crux of A1-B1. Think of learning English until your 10th Grade. After you cross that milestone, 'learning English' turns into your learning communication skills with a higher and complex vocabulary of English.

We encourage small group sessions with your friends, family members, and colleagues, but we do not conduct group classes. Our reasons are simple:

  1. In an online learning setup, you are most comfortable with people you already know. Therefore, the interaction becomes fun, free of judgment, and there's absolute familiarity. You share the learning goals; everyone is on the same page.

  2. A classroom of strangers turns into a group of friends when you get to meet them regularly and form friendships, build connections easily; online, it becomes a bit difficult. We are here to learn a language first! Besides, there are plenty of websites dedicated to making friends and building a professional network.

  3. Language learning is a serious commitment, and offering you the best learning experience is our USP.
