German For Schools
German For Schools
With the ever-increasing demand for online tutors, this page is dedicatedto the young learners of the German language and their parents.
We offer weekly and monthly tuitions for middle and high school students of the state, national and international boards. We have had students from various parts of India, France, Singapore and Germany.
Online Education, e-Learning, Online Class/Tuition is never
simply sharing charts, tables and recorded lessons!
The sign of great teaching is not in the child's marks or grades, but in the child's positive attitude towards learning.

Everyone wants a fair chance at education and that's what we facilitate here.
We only offer live, one-on-one sessions. Group sessions are made available for the student(s) who bring(s) their peers to learn along. This way, there's healthy competition and also the level of comfort encourages students to speak up more and that's what we need while learning a language!
To know more about the drawbacks of online live group learning, please read our article here.
We recommend the students who have learnt German before or are currently learning attheir school to write a grammar placement test before we finalise and begin with our classes.Every child is unique, every learner learns at his/her own pace. This way, not only we get to knowthe student, but it also offers transparency wrt the level of the student's language competency. This helps us offer you a customized course.
These tests are available for free and we also offer a free video call with question-by-question answer and analysis after you have written the test.
The free placement tests can be found here:
Test for beginners, 7-8th Grade or CEFR A1 (Years of studying the language: 0-1 year) 1.
2. Test for elementary students, 9-10th Grade or CEFR A2 (Years of studying the language: 1-2 years)
3. Test for intermediate students, 10-12th Grade or CEFR A2-B1 (Years of studying the language: 2-3 years)
4. One-for-all test by Goethe-Institut (CEFR A1-C2) (Recommended for IB & other International Students)
The timeline for IB (MYP and IBDP) is slightly different. The IB guidelines suggest that:
-
Students at CEFR A1 should take the German B ab initio course
-
Students at A2 or B1 can comfortably take the German B Standard Level course.
-
Students with CEFR B1 or B2 can comfortably take the German B Higher Level course.
0 – 2 years of learning
Ab initio
3 – 5 year of learning
Standard level
5-7 year of learning
Higher Level
Our students usually need 3-6 months of intensive sessions, after which the student is independent and confident enough to study on their own without feeling the "burden" of the exam.
This is why we offer a fair course structure for all our students. The course content is determined by the level of competence demonstrated before we begin with the classes.

Along with the books suggested by the education board or the school, we also refer to a grammar handout that offers thorough review and exercises to revise from during and after the classes.
The classes/tuitions for foreign languages need not go on for months, mainly because once the student is comfortable and has understood the sentence structure, the 'whys and why not-s' of grammar, all they need later is once or twice a week review and feedback on their quality of write-ups for tests, final exams, essays and other school assessments/assignments.
While the exam is the "endgame" for any student(s) and the parents, but we want to make sure that the student has learned the language, s/he understands it through the context and feels comfortable with solving their homework independently. That's our endgame!
